The Witches Brew Bone Broth

My witches brew broth! A "catch-all" recipe. I throw all the ingredients into my crock pot with no regard to how they are cut and I encourage you to throw what you have into your pot as well. Click the link to read more about the benefits of bone broth! I measure nothing when I make my bone broth. The measurements below are for those who don't just toss shit in a pot like I do. At the bottom of the page you'll find the link to my crock pot.


Ingredients:

  • 2 Red Onions

  • 4 sticks of Celery

  • 2 Carrots

  • 1 Rotisserie Chicken or Turkey (Both are good, take as much chicken or turkey off the bone that you want but the more meat you leave in the pot the yummier)

  • 3 Thyme sticks

  • 3 tablespoons of Peppercorns

  • 1 teaspoon of Red Pepper flakes

  • 3 Bay Leaves

  • 1 tablespoon of Salt and another of pepper

  • SO MUCH GARLIC just go crazy

Directions:

  • Throw all of it into a crock pot and fill with water till it just covers the contents

  • Cook on high for a minimum of 6 hours-I start mine in the morning and strain at night. You can leave it for 24 hours but you might have to add water along the way-The longer the better!

  • Strain and drink!

  • A cup in the morning and a cup at night for the best results!
